The Global Liver Institute (GLI) is an international, non-profit organization founded in 2014 with the mission to promote innovation and collaboration in the field of liver health. Through strategic partnerships, advocacy, and education, GLI seeks to amplify the voice of patients and improve policies, practices, and care systems for all liver diseases.

The Global Liver Institute (GLI) funded part of the global awareness and prevention campaign that established every second Thursday of June as International MASH Day. This initiative aims to raise public awareness about Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
