Health4All – Culture and Health Literacy
- Project Duration 2025
The Health4All - Culture and Health Literacy for Equal Access programme aims to strengthen health literacy and foster a culture of prevention and self-care, with the aim of equal access for all to quality health information and care. It emphasises vulnerable groups in society who face increased barriers to understanding and using health information.

The integrated matrix of information and education activities includes video podcasts that explain in a simple and understandable way complex issues such as viral hepatitis, obesity, the importance of vaccination and diagnostic tests.
Strengthening health literacy and self-care capacity in populations with limited access to information is a key outcome of the programme. At the same time, a culture of prevention, healthy lifestyles and early diagnosis is fostered and the stigma around diseases such as viral hepatitis is reduced.
Promitheas is the implementing agency of the programme, as part of its strategy for access and prevention for health. Health4All targets citizens of all ages, with a focus on vulnerable populations.
