I Deserve to know Plus II

Nationwide program providing free liver elastography examinations for the elderly
  • Project Duration 2025
The nationwide program “I Deserve to Know Plus II,” which provides free liver elastography tests to elderly patients, is being implemented for a second consecutive year, with the goal of improving the health and quality of life of individuals over the age of 65. The aim of the program is to offer free liver elastography to 600 beneficiaries within 12 months, across 6 remote regions of the country.

The initiative aimed to strengthen prevention and early diagnosis of liver diseases among the elderly population, which is at increased risk of developing chronic conditions, including certain types of cancer—such as liver cancer, which ranks as the third leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide, according to the World Health Organization.

Within the framework of the project, a total of 645 liver elastography examinations were conducted, 602 of which were performed in individuals aged over 65 years.
