ObeTech: Digital Skills for Obesity Care
The Association for the Support and Protection of Public Health Promitheas is pleased to announce the launch of the European project “ObeTech: Digital Skills for Obesity Care”, in which it participates as a partner. The project is implemented under the Erasmus+ VET programme and aims to strengthen digital skills in the health sector to address obesity.
ObeTech is an innovative initiative that contributes to shaping new standards in health prevention and care, in line with the Health 5.0 approach. The project aims to develop digital and innovative skills for healthcare professionals in order to enhance the prevention, diagnosis, and management of obesity—one of the most significant contemporary public health challenges in Europe and worldwide.
Through the use of modern technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, wearable health devices, and digital learning platforms with micro-credential systems, the project seeks to strengthen the competencies of healthcare professionals and promote innovative practices in the field of public health.
The project’s activities are aligned with major European initiatives, such as the European Health Data Space (EHDS), contributing to the development of a more modern, digital, and resilient healthcare system.
The project is implemented by an international consortium of organizations and experts from across Europe, including:
