Speak Hepatitis

The Speak Hepatitis initiative brings information about hepatitis inside the correctional facilities of Korydallos and Elaionas of Thebes. We empower women living under conditions of incarceration with tools of prevention, care, and knowledge—both during detention and after release.

What do we achieve?

• Information and education about viral hepatitis
• Reduction of stigma within the correctional environment
• Access in multiple languages (Greek, English, Albanian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Georgian)
• Prevention and testing explained in simple, understandable language

Women in correctional facilities are often excluded from essential health information. The Speak Hepatitis program opens pathways to a life with more health and fewer exclusions.
