Pillars of Action

Access

Improving access to quality prevention, care, and psychosocial support services for vulnerable groups is a key priority for Promitheas. We focus on critical public health issues such as obesity, cardiovascular diseases, liver conditions, and mental health—with an emphasis on addiction and gender-based violence—which have significantly worsened during the pandemic and disproportionately affect those living in poverty and social exclusion.

17.835
Fibroscans conducted for the general population to date
7.000
Screenings per Year among incarcerated individuals
600
People Who Inject Drugs tested and linked to health services annually

In the face of this complex and unequal landscape, Promitheas implements targeted actions aimed at reducing barriers to access. Through mobile units, community-based prevention initiatives, partnerships with local actors, and strategic advocacy, we work to ensure that no one is left behind when it comes to the most fundamental human right: health.
